Sets out the long-term vision for a wood

A Woodland Management Plan sets out the long-term vision for the wood and allows you to determine the effects and outcomes of current and past management on your woodland.

Arbeco produce management plans for woodlands to fulfil a range of objectives, tailored to your site. This involves a programme of works including felling, thinning and coppicing of trees as well as removal of invasive weed species. This can include wildlife habitat creation schemes.

Management plans are accompanied by maps that clearly illustrate key features and sections of the woodland.

A successfully managed woodland provides a range of benefits to the owner and community. It can provide a space for leisure, crafts and relaxation as well as education e.g. forest schools. Woodland can halt the loss of biodiversity and can targed actions which help certain species and habitats.
